Abstract

Construction and mining equipment have both functions of running and loading rocks and sand. On the working fields or sites, employee or operators always have risks of coming across the accidents. Komatsu has been executing Product Reliability Activity and Product Safety Activity since 1970s. To prevent the failures on products, Komatsu thinks that the most important factors are the organized implementation of Product Reliability Activity, Product Safety Activity and their proper implementation.
