Abstract
Established in 2018 as a successor to the QMS Research group, the Management Technology Research group has explored new approaches to TQM and QMS. With 97 members and three working groups, this research group has focused on topics such as QMS models for SMEs, the application of ISO 9004, and audit techniques. This research group held general meetings and knowledge-sharing seminars where they presented results and exchanged ideas on various management-related themes. However, declining membership, an aging leadership team, and difficulty
finding successors led to the research group to dissolve this research group by the end of fiscal year 2025. Some members are preparing to launch a new research group to continue their legacy.
