Abstract
The method called analysis of variance, in short ANOVA, has been popularly used as an important step of data analysis. Recently, various techniques for design and analysis have been given, demanding complicate calculation for tabulating ANOVA tables. Despite the great demands for calculation, little attention has so far been paid to make a computer program generally applicable for all cases. In order to produce such program it is necessary to study to reduce all problems into essential items. It is the object of this paper to explain the studies and the method of construction general program applicable for almost all cases arisen in actual data analysis. The program was completed by the author and has been satisfactory used in many cases.
