The Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Physical Therapeutic Treatment for the Symptoms of Shoulder Periarthritis Using the KK Scale Method

Abstract

Shoulder periarthritis, commonly known as frozen shoulder, is a generic term for the symptoms that cause pain to the shoulder and restrict its range of motion. It occurs frequently in people between the age groups of forties and fifties. Sometimes shoulder pain limits the daily lives of the patients. In this study, I performed physical therapeutic treatment once a week for a total of 8 treatments on a client who had developed shoulder periarthritis and observed how the client’s quality of life had changed using the KK scale method.
