Evaluation of Aromatherapy Treatment Effects on the client with Degloving damage by KK scale

Abstract

The Degloving damage are those skin lacking by injury, it may not be only skin, but also subcutaneous tissue, blood vessels, nerves, muscles, tendons, bone and joint. It is the injury caused by that limb is caught in the machine, such as a roller or belt wheel in general. For subjects, by a motorbike accident, in stripping to guardrail, suffered Degloving damage on instep part of right foot in December 2007, then under reconstructive surgery also suffer from after-effects. Nineteen periods of the aromatherapy treatment once two weeks have been done to the subject (client, 48 year-old, male). The changes in QOL set in a holistic viewpoint measured in KK scale were observed, and the effect of aromatherapy was evaluated in this paper
