Abstract

China Ancient Qiang City, located in Fengyi Town, Mao County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. This paper, from the perspective of dance body language studies and in combination with art management studies, uses the 2024 China Ancient Qiang City “Highland Potato Snack Festival” organized by the Mao County Qiang Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe Performing Arts Co., Ltd. as a case study. It explores how to manage the creation of dance art in tourist attractions while adhering to and innovating upon local culture. In this case, the paper summarizes various characteristics of collective artistic creation by analyzing the context, forms, semantics, and pragmatics of dance creation in this case. It also investigates new, effective management approaches for dance art creation in tourist attractions based on local culture and meeting contemporary demands. This paper aims to provide new insights and practical references for the management of dance art creation in China.
