Abstract
We assume the Arrhenius law between the thermal stress and the lifetime, and the lifetime follows the generalized logistic distribution at a constant stress. By using a real experimental case, we obtained the estimates first. Then, we made a simulation study by using the estimates. The test condition is: 1) test temperatures are 290, 270, 250, and temperatures in use are assumed 150, 180, 200 degree (case I, II, III); 2) the total number of specimens is 30. The RMSE is used for the optimality. The conventional test method in which the specimens are set equally to each temperature shows a fairly well result comparing to the optimal test.
