Abstract
This study aimed to develop a reliable and valid scale for evaluating collaboration and cooperation among childcare workers who care for children under the age of three. A questionnaire survey, which included potential scale items, was administered to 2,207 active childcare workers, resulting in 1,730 valid responses (60 male, 1,670 female). Factor analysis revealed 42 items, which were organized into three distinct subscales, each demonstrating satisfactory internal consistency, test–retest reliability, and construct validity. Additionally, differences in scale scores were observed across various employment types, classroom roles, workplace settings, and other demographic factors. The study successfully developed a scale with demonstrated reliability and validity, designed to capture specific collaboration and cooperation among childcare workers who care for children under the age of three.
