Thermal modulation voltammetry at an interface between two immiscible electrolyte solutions

Abstract

Thermal modulation voltammetry (TMV) has been developed for determining standard entropy of ion transfer across an oil/water interface, ΔS°_tr^,O→W. Fundamentals and experiments for TMV are described, and ΔS°_tr^,O→W for ion transfer of 1-alkylprydinium ions across a 1,2-dichloroethane/water interface are discussed.
