Abstract
Essential elements to motor function in the aged consist of muscle strength, speed, flexibility, coordination, and balance. While the sport test is used for measuring motor capacity, measurement method of physical strength of the aged has continuously been developed. In this lecture, elements to motor function were introduced and a change in motor function due to ageing was described.
