Abstract
Five species of rotifers belonging to the genus Keratella are described and figured. Keratella cochlearis, K. quadrata and K. valga are very noticeable in their variations of hind spines and reticulated pattern on lorica. The state of distributions of K. quadrata and K. valga are interesting. K. cruciformis is the species of brackish waters and K. serrulata is of dystrophic waters.
