A 78-year-old woman with acute cholecystitis had situs inversus viscerum totalis accompanied by liver cirrhosis.
We obtained the accurate diagnosis of her with the present illness and the physical examination. An acute crisis was prevented by the conservative therapy with antibiotics, and she was underwent a scheduled operation after detailed examinations of the biliary system as endoscopic-pancreato-cholangio-graphy and the other examinations. She made favorable progress after the operation.
