Abstract
We report a case of intestinal malignant lymphoma which might belong to multiple lymphomatous polyposis of gastrointestinal tract named by Cornes. A 64-year-old man was admitted with the complaint of general fatigue. Blood analysis showed severe anemia. Fiber-scopy and barium enema revealed several polyps in the duodenum, desending and trasvers colon, and a Borrmann I typed tumor in the ceacum. Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma or malignant lymphoma was suspected, from these biopsy findings, so laparotomy was done. Elastic hard tumors like sausage were palpated in pan intestine from the duodenum to desending colon, therefore intestinal malignant lymphoma was douted. The jejunum that appered the source of bleeding was segmentally resected. There were a lot of polyps measured about 2.0 cm in the lumen, which were histologically diagnosed as non-Hodgkin lymphoma, diffuse B cell type. Four cycles of MIFP chemotherapy led to the CR in postoperative day. The patient was free from recurrence as of 24 months after operation.
