Abstract
Villous adenomas are commonly found in the lower parts of the colon, and rarely occur in the upper digestive organs. In this paper two cases of villous adenoma of the duodenum were reported together with a review of the literature. Two cases presented with some manifestations not directly relating to the lesions, and were found to have polyps at the duodenal bulb by upper GI series. Endoscopic biopsy revealed group IV in both cases, duodenogastrectomy being performed. Histopathological diagnoses were both tubulo-villous adenoma, and no malignancy could be found.
