A distributed hydrological model is applied to the Ikeda dam basin (1,904 km2) of Yoshino river in Shikoku Island in order to make the accuracy of the inflow rate into the dam high. The radar-AMeDAS composite precipitation data was used for the analysis. The results show that 1) the runoff model is applicable for the estimation of river water inflow, and 2) a simple data correction of the simulated data using observation data is useful for the prediction of the river water inflow. To apply the hydrological model for the water supply management in the Ikeda dam, data assimilation and model modification should be necessary.
