A STUDY ON INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION BY UTILIZING DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN RIVER RESTORATION NETWORK

Abstract

The "Asian River Restoration Network (ARRN)" and "Japan River Restoration Network (JRRN)", which is one of national networks of ARRN, was established in November 2006. This paper reports major international exchange activities by ARRN and JRRN since its establishment, and proposes the sustainable framework of river restoration network for promoting effective knowledge and technical transfer on river management from Japan to overseas countries.
