Abstract

Authors have applied the CRD scheme to the open channel flow, and shown that the analysis results compared with the experimental values and the theoretical values are reasonable. However, the reproducibility of the overflow calculation of embankment is not sure. In this study, we carried out overflow calculation of a retarding basin by the CRD scheme, to confirm the reproducibility for the water level and the current direction and velocity and overflow rate of peripheral embankment. From these results, the CRD scheme is an integral analysis of the flood zone and the river, it was confirmed that have utility. Further, Calculated values of overflow rate are in good agreement with honma’s formal 1.09 times. However, the upstream and downstream ends of the overflow embankment, showed that smaller than the honma’s formal 1.09 times by influence in a wall.
