Abstract

This is the achievement report of the 2nd year of systematization study of records management science of the three year planning. In 2017, three study sessions were held. The first session was in regard to an analysis system of document management terminology which used a text mining method. This system was developed by Prof. Sachio Hirokawa of Kyushu University. Two more sessions were held early 2018. They were a hearing visit to Samukawa Archives in January and a lecture by Ms. Kiyo Miura, a former employee in Itabashi City, Tokyo, in February, for exploring best practices of record management practices in the local public entities. Through these study sessions and activities we tried to grasp the substance of current and non‒current records management practices. Based on the above achievements, we discussed our future study themes for 2018.
