Abstract

Regarding the case of herpes zoster on the left side of neck and shoulder, and besides facial palsy on the left, lesion appeared on H1 Ryodoraku and H6 Ryodoraku. As it was not possible to give strong stimulation and much needling during the first and acute stage, I gave low frequency electrical acupuncture onto two Ryodo-points (_??__??_Hoku→_??__??_Chienyu) and I received good results.
I suggest that we should have Ryodoraku measurement on the source points. The reason is that H1 appeared above the average value but H6 showed no change, then I moved the measuring point to Hoku and it appeared above the average value.
After two points treatment and low frequency electric acupuncture treatment, I checked the E. E. G. Some impressions were realized in the frontal lobe pre-motor area. The response being showed on the E. E. G. test can be forecasted and meridian stream moves from the large intestine meridian to the stomach merididian. I have understood the improvement of blood current showes good suggestions for Ryodoraku treatment.
