Abstract

It is desirable to identify potential dangers and harmfulness in the workplace by conducting a risk assessment and take appropriate measures in advance, unlike the conventional occupational accident prevention measures based on the investigation of the causes of occupational accidents that have occurred 1). There is also a guideline that defines the content of risk assessment 2). In this paper, I conducted multivariate analysis, focusing on the relationship between the situation of “drawn into a machine” occupational accidents occurred in the past and the current implementation status and review timing of risk assessment, the introduction status of OSHMS, and safety measures, based on the data of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's "Investigation and Analysis Project for Safety Measures in Aging Production Equipment" report 3)~6). As a result, I obtained an analysis result that there was a correlation between the fact that the business operator experienced a serious occupational accident such as a fatal accident and the implementation of the latest safety measures, and was considered to be a background factor for the implementation of safety measures.
