Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine the change of relationship between sandplay and the maker after engaging in sandplay and to approach how the makers changed in sandplay therapy. I asked participants to describe the relationship at three time points, just after making sandplay, after appreciating sandplay, and after a week, using an image figure of the relationship and an interview. In this article I examined three cases. These cases indicated that his subjective senses were getting stronger, that the image she had exhibited before was stimulated and that she accepted herself, and that he confronted himself by understanding his psychological theme, through changing the relationship. Based upon the above, I considered that it was important to focus on the relationship between sandplay and the maker to approach the psychological change on sandplay therapy.
