In this paper, I report the case of a woman （a housewife in her 60s） who had lived in chaotic darkness due to her personal and collective unconsciousness. She called the darkness “black” and hated it. However, with the guidance of many dreams and visions, she underwent a process of recovering the wholeness of the psyche. Although being obsessed by the thought that she should be “white” until then, she first recognized “black” and gained femininity and masculinity. She also had a mysterious experience of entering the white light and uniting with the universe. As a result, the woman came to realize that the “something great” she had been seeking had always existed within her. Finally, she began to feel happy to live with her family, while holding both “white and black”.
