Abstract

1. The simplified pneumatic conveyor (called VP device) in which the principle of injection feeder was applied was made on an experimental basis, and tested.
2. VP device has the function of self-control, that is, when the resistance in conveying pipe Becomes high, the air flow rate in suction pipe is reduced.
3. The conveying capacity is limited by the critical mixture ratio in the suction pipe. The efficiency of power of this device is lower than that of the conventional system of pneumatic conveyor.
4. If the supplied quantity of paddy is high, the blockade can be prevented by the function of self control of VP device.
5. From the viewpoint of energy flow, the efficiency of suction is low, so it becomes problem to increase this efficiency of suction.
