Abstract

The radiation configuration factors of a pig are necessary for estimatig radiation exchange rate between the pig body and surrounding objects. The configuration factors of the polyhedric surface-model pig, which was 27kg in live weight, in a standing posture and composed of many surface-mounted triangular patches, were numerically calculated by using the procedure in the second paper and the law of summation for configuration factors. The figures for determining configuration factors of a 27kg pig to rectangular planes on the ceiling, or on the floor in direct contact with or below the bases of its hoofs were presented with the size of the plane and the distance between the plane and it as parameters.
