Abstract
Molecular mechanisms, which were involved in apoptosis of human T lymphoma cell line, JURKAT cells induced by heat-shock stress were studied by techniques of electrophoresis, agarose gel electrophoresis used for separation of DNA fragments in apoptotic cells, two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis for separation of intracellular small proteins such as stathmin and pp 19, and western blotting for microsequencing of the proteins. In this experimental protocol we describe the procedures for the techniques and discuss the points for success in the experiments.
