Abstract
If you think Kansei is a measure of emotion, Kansei Engineering could be realized in the near future. This is because it would be possible to measure a Kansei-quality through the use of the Kansei-measure. Kansei-value is determined by the degree of the Kansei-quality. This gives you the idea that you can create a product of high Kansei-value by increasing the degree of the Kansei-quality. Currently, we are interested in the feeling of luxury, one of the Kansei-qualities. This Kansei-quality has a strong tendency toward quantitive variable, so it is easy to measure. In this paper, we introduce studies on the measurement of the feeling of luxury of skincare cosmetics and the text of pamphlets.
