Abstract
A new counseling system, we developed, called makeup color simulator, is described. Various makeup pattern images can be easily displayed by using this system.
This system consists of 8 bit microprocessor, a color display monitor which has resolution as high as 256×256 pixels and 2563 (16, 777, 216) colors, a light pen, and a tablet digitizer.
Color image data is transfered by a color video camera under digital control. A characterization of color on the monitor was examined by the original method, then relative equation between X, Y, Z and R, G, B on the color monitor was difined. Some flowcharts of programs and simulated faces on a color monitor are shown.
This system is capable of utilization 1) to advice a makeup pattern to our customers and 2) to develop new makeup pattern.
