Abstract
Dissecting aneurysm of the anterior cerebral artery (ACA) is an unusual condition. Observation or trapping and bypass are recommended for the treatment of dissecting aneurysm of the ACA. We present a very unusual case of a 52-year-old female with subarachnoid hemorrhage due to the rupture of a dissecting aneurysm in the peripheral ACA successfully treated by wrapping and clipping technique. We discuss the surgical treatments for dissecting aneurysm of the ACA.
