Abstract
42 species of butterflies found in the Dainohara forest park from 2010 to 2011 are listed with collection data. They are 7 species of Papilionidae, 5 species of Pieridae, 9 species of Lycaenidae, 10 species of Nymphalidae, 6 species of Satyridae, 5 species of Hesperiidae, and their seasonal and annual occurrence in the area are recorded.
