This study compared physical body elements and motor abilities as human resources of obese high school boys in comparison with non-obese boys, and looked and the physical characteristics of obese boys over the three years of high school from a created radar chart. The physical body elements of obese boys tended to be inferior to those of non-obese boys in all measures other than height. In motor ability, the obese boys were shown to have poorer abilities to move their bodies quickly or for long times in the standing broad jump, 50 m dash, and endurance running. This may demonstrate some of the characteristics of physical ability of obese high school boys, elucidate risks associated with the human resource of obesity, and provide information for personnel management to raise productivity in companies.
