Abstract

 The movement to enhance employee well-being has been going on in developed countries. Its primary purpose is to gain talented employees as well as improve personal and organizational operations. A medium and small sized company manager with high consciousness for well-being I had an interview puts the agenda for enhancing well-being on the performance improvement and how to create the innovations. By the way, according to a Gallup’s research, work engagement among employees is not high across the world. This study examined the useful factors for the companies to have well-being work as motivational factors, enhance work engagement, and install and entrench the corporate system that will lead to the environment for the innovation, and a framework using those useful factors.As a result of this study, I concluded as below;

1) We can overlook the correlation between well-being and performance, applying the service profit chain framework.

2) It is the agenda for well-being to work as a motivational factor to make well-being a cause of good performance and innovation.

3) The viewpoints to solve the agenda should be something that can raise the level of work engagement and activate the leadership on site.

4) I suggest a framework, in which corporate initiatives for the reform of working practices and the leadership exertion at the site to make them practical shall be crucial factors to create the base of high performance and the innovations.
