Sales: A Starting Point to Improve Intellectual Productivity of a Manufacturer

―Toward Revival of Japanese Manufacturing Business―

Abstract

　There is concern that the economic growth potential of Japanese society will decline. Simply introducing AI and IoT will be behind developed and emerging countries. Apart from political and administrative issues, measures are needed to recover the growth potential of the manufacturing business. This paper proposes measures to improve intellectual productivity using IT. Especially, this paper describes the reform of sales operations to withstand the shortage of demand.
