Abstract
In the aluminum rolling-processing factory, at each manufacturing facility, the same type of processing is grouped to one operation lot based on the operating conditions specific to the facility and priority is given to the processing jobs in accordance with particular situations. To support production planning in such processes, we developed an integrated simulator for scheduling, which has a parallel queue model for each lot-making condition.In addition, a high precision model was made by controlling lot scheduling in accordance with work-load.The simulation system constructed has effectively been used as a daily support tool for production planning in aluminum rolling-processing factories.
