Dynamic and Cyclic Response Simulation of Shape Memory Alloy Devices

Abstract

    In the present study, the extended Brinson’s constitutive equation for shape memory alloy considering asymmetric tensile and compressive deformation and multi-axial stress state has been simplified and applied to the one-dimensional and three-dimensional dynamic simulations, which have furthermore been extended to the simulations considering the cyclic effect.
