There are many life cycle scenarios for ensuring structural performance of civil infrastructure that include when and how suitable repair would be carried out. In this study, life cycle scenarios for an open-type wharf were setup and evaluated based on the LCC. The failure probability against seismic action was calculated taking into account the variability of corrosion of steel piles. When the failure probability reaches to its limit value, repair is taken of which costs are counted in the LCC. Through the comparison of LCC, the most feasible life cycle scenario was discussed.
