Abstract
In the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake, there were some problems in the media reports such as concentration on specific municipality and the high emphasis on the nuclear power accident and so on. Many media reports couldn’t contribute through appropriate disaster journalism in disaster management cycles. The purpose of this research is to develop appropriate Media Model which can contribute for effective disaster assessment in disaster management cycle. This paper shows the results of the comparison of the contents of WEB news and the damage of the municipality in 10 days after the earthquake occurrence.[This abstract is not included in the PDF]
