Abstract
Tourist information sites are supplying town strangers with valuable mobility support information,while they need more ICT in making full use of visitor's data from viewpoints of marketing analysis and to assist business improvement of site officers. This paper proposes some ideas to introduce ICT at tourist information sites in site-friendly forms to aim at promoting stop-by round trip tourism for economical area activation and at applying also for natural hazard situations, through analysis of rural and city tourist information sites.
