This paper aims at the quantitative evaluation of the effect of Eco-Driving (‘Moderate Acceleration') on traffic capacity at signalized intersections. Although there are many studies which indicate the effectiveness of Eco-Driving in terms of CO2 emissions from a single vehicle, the evaluation of CO2 emissions considering the effect of Eco-Driving on traffic flow has not been achieved yet. Therefore, we develop the model which can estimate the traffic capacity of a signalized intersection with the consideration of the effect of Eco-Driving, and find that the decreasing effect of traffic capacity becomes large as the penetration rate of Eco-Driving vehicles becomes high
