Its Significance and Points in Organization.

Abstract

IIS has many research centers of various types now. The status of the center changed drastically after the national university became a corporation. In order to re-examine its role, the raison d'etre of the center and the noticeable points for its management are discussed based on what I have learned from professors associated with centers and my experience on the Center for International Research on Micromechatronics (CIRMM).
