Culture X Engineering Research Group: Implementation Report and Prospects (2024)

Abstract

This report covers the activities of the “Culture X Engineering” research group in academic year 2024 as well as the progress of the “Koma Ni Music Festival” held on the Komaba II (“Koma Ni”) campus. Four times a year, leading Japanese musicians are invited to perform at the Koma Ni Music Festival, which is based on the concept that the arts and the sciences share the same aspirations. In order to promote talent for many years to come, “Koma Ni” campus was designed as an environment where the sciences and the arts are in close proximity.
