Mechanistic study on promotion effect of hydrogen on selective reduction of NO by hydrocarbons with Ag-alumina catalyst

Abstract

Low temperature activity of SCR by C₃H₈ over Ag catalysts was enhanced by addition of H₂. In this work, the mechanistic cause of the enhancement of activity by the addition of H₂. was investigated with kinetic analysis, in-situ UV-Vis, ESR and in-situ IR.
