Abstract
A novel microporous complex metal oxide based on molybdenum, vanadium, and bismuth (Mo-V-Bi oxide) was synthesized by hydrothermal method and characterized by STEM, TEM, XRD, FT-IR, Raman, TPD, NH3-TPD, and N2 adsorption. The results showed that Mo-V-Bi oxide was crystalline material with high porosity and surface area. The single crystal of Mo-V-Bi oxide was obtained for single crystal analysis to gain full structural information of this material. This material was used as a heterogeneous catalyst for olefin epoxidation with TBHP. The stable catalyst could be reused for several times without loss of activity.
