Abstract
JX NOEX conducted 2D land seismic exploration survey in western part of Kushiro area from October 2011 to February 2012. This survey was acquired using long offset seismic reflection survey parameter to detect the deeper sedimentary structure by reflection and refraction processing methods. Before seismic survey, JX NOEX had conducted the environmental impact assessment for the survey. The purpose of assessment was to gain an understanding of the impact on seismic survey and to reduce environmental burden. Besides, we had verified the validity of the assessment during the seismic survey. In here, we will mainly introduce the EIA method and result for the land seismic exploration survey.
