Abstract
So far MFI zeolite has been employed as octane booster by removing low octane components from gasoline fraction. That resulted in reduction of gasoline yield. Multi functional catalyst created with MFI zeolite added to RFCC catalyst (with USY or FAU zeolite) resulted in improved octane number without sacrificing gasoline yield.
