Abstract
Calgon Carbon is introducing 2 different types of activated carbon specially developed for removing mercury from refineries. Effective use and adsorption mechanism of HGR, granular or pelletized carbon, which ontinues to be used in LNG process for over 40 years. Characteristics and case study of HGR-LH activated carbon developed for mercury removal from liquid hydrocarbons, whose demand is increasing in Japan due to deterioration of imported raw materials.
