Abstract

Core-shell type nanoparticles composed of silica nanoparticles and block polymer employing poly(acrylic acid) and polystyrene are one of the candidates to resolve the NafionR issue. We have developed fabrication process for core-shell type nanoparticles by controlled RAFT polymerization with particles. In this study, we clarified the relationship between polymer thickness on core-shell type nanoparticles and the proton conductivity.
