A new method of preparing for hemoglobin soiled fabrics was proposed in our previous study in which a good accordance was observed between two removal percentages by chemical analysis and by reflectance (calculated using K/S values) in washing test using commercial laundry detergent. In this paper, a trial was made to apply the test fabric to bleaching test. Five kinds of commercial bleaching agents and three kinds of bleaching reagents (NaClO, Na2CO3・1.5H2O2, and H2O2) were used as test samples and the two removal percentages were compared each other. Additionally, EMPA 111 was used as a comparison. The results show that the relationship between the two removal percentages for the improved hemoglobin soiled fabrics was much better than that for EMPA 111. But the two removal percentages necessarily matched each other in the bleaching test even if the improved hemoglobin soiled fabric was used as a test sample. Especially, relatively great differences between the two removal percentages were observed for oxygen bleaching agents. But a good relationship between the two removal percentages was obtained by washing test of the improved soiled fabric using commercial detergent including oxygen bleaching agent as a component.
