An interest on the contamination of textiles had been stimulated by the regulation against the formaldehyde contained in textiles. A study was made, in the previous paper, to investigate the mechanism how the textiles were contaminated by the formaldehyde in the air. Experiments had revealed that textiles were contaminated by the formaldehyde disolved into the water contained in fibers.
On the contrary, a mechanism was studied, in this paper, to remove the formaldehyde from con-taminatd textiles. Experimental results have shown that the formaldehyde is desorbed from textiles by dissolving into the moisture in the air.
