Abstract
The trial of wearing comfort of girdles is carried out by women students using two wearing techniques; wearing for short and long period of time. First, we investigated wearing comfort of girdles used on this trial, in classifying short and long time. Then, we found out the factors of wearing comfort by factor analysis. The results are summarized as follows:
(1) Profile of wearing comfort is different among three types of girdles (soft, medium, hard) .
(2) No difference has been found in wearing comfort between long and short time trial.
(3) Main factors affecting the wearing comfort are pressure, touch, fitness and hot/wet feeling.
(4) The women students prefer wearing soft type girdles, which gives just little pressure, to wearing hard one
