Abstract
The snow cover consistes of the ice, water and air (contains water vapour), so the density of it is shown as follows.
D=DiVi/V+DwVw/V+DaVa/V
whereVi/V, Vw/V, Va/V are the volume rate of ice, water and air respectively, and D, Di, Dw, Da are the density of snow cover, ice, water and air respectively.
Accordingly the density of snow cover is shown using the triangular coordinate as Fig. 1.
